GUKELBERGER Carmen
Curriculum Vitae.Carmen Gukelberger, on her road to painting, born in Breisach, Southern Germany, passed several stop overs.
After finishing three years of training at Folkwang School, Essen, she continued her self-taught education by trying out and perfecting several techniques.
Always looking for new forms and means of expression, the artist is experimenting on new techniques, even developing unconventional methods.
As the motivating forces the artist regards visions and fantastic ideas permitting her to venture forth into completely liberal depiction and design. Out of this different world she creates paintings which, at a fleeting glance, seem to be monochrome, which, however at a closer look show a richly nuanced spectrum of colours.
Therefore it would be wise to approach Carmen Gukelberger's pictures leisurely and to immerse one self in them, more or less so, as you have to come to rest, in order to embark on visious and adventures.
Some pictures of Carmen Gukelberger have been awaded prizes. The fact, that her paintings appeal to people, can be seen in exhibitions well attended domestic as well as foreign.
(Since 2005 she designs and produces jewellery.)
